I LOVE these kids and Denise!! Camdyn and John goes to school with my daughter Madison and they are an absolute delight! Connie’s kids and our models!

Just a quick post to tell you about Connie’s kids clothing. Connie’s is located in Chesapeake VA. Her store literally has the CUTEST clothes in the world for your little ones.
What drew me in was her catch phrase, “because they’re only little once” … and she is sooo right. My daughter is 3 and my son is 7 months and it seems like yesterday I went into labor with my precious little girl. I like to dress her in all the cutesy dresses, pigtails, bows because i know one day she will grow out of it, ask for mini skirts and the keys to the car. Connie has been amazing to with so far and I cannot tell you how impressed I am with her store and her staff. It is kid friendly and the clothes are to die for!! There is only one problem and that is, how much to buy!! I went in there looking for just one outfit and came out with 4!!! Maddie turns 3!

Over the past weekend we have been blessed to celebrate our daughter turning 3! We made some new friends, and our little family had a BLAST! We made it extra special by booking The Teeny Tiny Farm; http://theteenytinyfarm.com/a traveling petting zoo! I have to tell you, Deb and staff are AMAZING! Not only are they super friendly, professional, caring, and have lovely animals, they are just the greatest with kids! If you are in the Hampton Roads area, I HIGHLY recommend booking with the petting zoo, you will NOT be dissapointed. We will treasure these memories forever, not to mention your party will be the talk of the town 
. Madison’s birthday cake was done by a sweet lady named Joanne, from A piece of Cake-Cakes by Joanne (http://www.cakes-by-joanne.com/) The cake was so jaw dropping beautiful in person, photographs do not do it justice-and this is coming from a photographer! Not only was it beautiful it was DE-LIC-IOUS! The labels, and most of the decor was made by my friend Dez from Papercandee (www.papercandee.com), I have had so many compliments on her creations!! I encourage EVERYONE to correspond with Dez when planning a party; she is a PRO!! She really takes her time with her products, they are high quality and DARLING! She went above and beyond, and I have to tell ya, her decor “made” the party! We want to thank everyone who came out, who wished Madison a happy birthday and really made her day enjoyable! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

The meaning of a lifestyle photo session

I really wanted to get into the beauty of a lifestyle session. Lifestyle sessions are sessions that capture the true beauty of personality, family, togetherness, love and intimacy. It’s the little things we do everyday that turn into the most unforgettable moments. I want to gear my photography more towards these sessions because they are the most heart felt, loving, and most treasured photographs you can ever imagine! Because my daughter and my husband share the same birthday, I wanted to do something creative for him (we are going all out for our daughter). Below is sort of a “hint” of a surprise, but mainly I would like to show my own family’s lifestyle session to give an idea of what it’s all about:
we had a great family day!! Our son was in a great mood and our daughter was well behaved so why not a pool day? we had a small bbq, fun, sun, a family nap and play time!! The smallest details become the best parts of our lives!
When I got back into photography, I wanted to remember everything!! Our litle girl is going on 3 and I would give anything to remember how it felt changing her diaper, smelling her hair, kissing those chubby cheeks, giving her baths, and watching her play. It’s never too late to start documenting everything your children do, because before long, they are grown and starting lives of their own! Here is another part of our lifestyle session; watching our daughter play! Btw, Happy Early Birthday to Madison, and thank you Grandma and PaPa for the kitchen!

Welcome!! Look what we’ve been up to!

Hello Hampton Roads! Our family is fairly new to Virginia. I decided to give photography a break when Jon and I found out we were expecting our second baby in San Diego. Going through pregnancy, deployment, a big move to Virginia and settling in; taking clients would be a very difficult thing to do. We are finally settled in, Jon is home, and we welcomed our sweet baby boy in January! We are very blessed to be stationed here in Norfolk, because we are fairly close to home this time (Kentucky). I was going to start my career in HR but I really wanted to stay home with my kiddos and do what I love to do, photography! With that in mind, I am able to serve both the Hampton Roads area, as well as Kentucky! I have a Grand opening special posted in the Investment tab, and I am excited to meet the great people of Virginia! Posted below are a few photos of our newest edition, and the reason why I have been away for some time! P.S. I will be posting a blog of lifestyle sessions that I am just itching to do, details coming soon!!!
